Love Me Some Veevus 6/0 Thread

I usually buy Veevus 6/0 for most of my fly tying. That size is very versatile and can be used on large streamers all the way down to small midges. It is thin enough to use on the smaller patterns but strong enough that it won’t break every time you apply pressure on your bobbin. A great all purpose thread.

Perfect Midge Thread

I love this Veevus 16/0 thread. Normally when tying midges, you need a very thin thread, but often that thread will break when applying any meaningful amount of pressure. This is not the case with Veevus threads. They have a higher breaking strength when compared to similar diameter threads on the market. I love their spools as well because they have a built in thread lock so that your spool doesn't come unraveled when not in use. Veevus has their thread down to a science and they're my favorite fly tying thread to use for just about every fly that I tie. Lovely color selection as well!
