Hareline's 3/16" (4.6mm) plummeting tungsten beads come in traditional, bright, and metallic colors and they're countersunk so you can easily slide them around the hook bend. Tungsten is the heaviest non-toxic metal available and gets your fly down the fastest to the depth you want! 20 beads per pack

Good Beads

I prefer tungsten beads to other materials because it is so much heavier. Usually when you want to get something to sink, it is best to have it sink faster and/or deeper. Tungsten does this better than other materials. I own several sizes and colors.

I use these beads for heavy nymphing for winter pan fish and they work great!
