Veevus Pearl Tinsel is an incredibly strong tinsel with a lifelike pearlescent color. As with all Veevus products, this pearl tinsel features a higher breaking strength and more quantity per spool than comparable pearl tinsels on the market.

  • Small - 1/64" (30 meter spool)
  • Medium - 1/32" (20 meter spool)
  • Large - 1/16" (11 meter spool)

Best Pearl Tinsel on the Market

Premium stuff. I carry this tinsel in S, M and L. If the recipe calls for some pearl magic, I reach for this knowing that my fly will draw lots of attention as it passes by that wary 'bow that has seen it all.

Many uses

I use it a lot on my winter midge patterns as an attractor for tandem rigs. I also use it as a ribbing for many nymphs and soft hackles for a little flash and as a flashback wingcase.

Great Flashback On Nymphs!

The pearl mirage flashback on nymphs looks great using it over wing cases and then using an epoxy. Really makes an attractive fly for the fish to see. Makes great ribbing too.

Great Stuff

I use these to tie my Rainbow Warrior flies and Flashback Pheasant Tail Nymphs. This pearl tinsel is great and the Veevus spools are great with the built-in cap to keep the material secure when not in use.
