The Stonfo Elite Bobbin is a premium fly tying bobbin with an adjustable disc-drag system. This feature allows you to precisely control thread tension while tying. The thick stainless steel tube features a hardened steel tip with a special coating to prevent thread fraying and is excellent for large predator and saltwater fly tying when a larger thread is needed. The Elite series is Stonfo's full-featured bobbin.

Love these Stonfo bobbins

I alternate between the blue and red Stonfo bobbins. The blue ones have a little longer and wider tube that allow for heavier thread to go through. I've switched over to all Stonfo tools and have been very happy. These are great bobbins and the drag system and overall small profile are what converted me!
