Ergonomic grips offers a comfortable hold in a balanced position and encourages precise thread wraps. Available in your choice of two sizes, Regular (Red) or Midge (Blue).

Best Fly Tying Bobbins Period!

I took a risk and purchased this bobbin in the regular size. I was a little hesitant due to the price, but this is by far the best fly tying bobbin the market. There's just something about a beautifully crafted tool that makes doing a job so much more enjoyable. These Smhaen bobbins feel right at home in my hand and allow for precise thread control on the fly. The ceramic tube is smooth as butter. Needless to say, I have two of each size now and every time I pick up the bobbin to tie flies, it puts a little smile on my face. If you're on the fence about trying this bobbin out, and if you have the funds for it, definitely get it and you won't be let down.
