Rite Bobbin

Being a bit "old school", I was leery of giving up the tension control of a traditional bobbin based on how it feels in the hand. After tying a dozen of flies with the Rite Bobbin, I knew I had nothing to worry about. The operation was smooth, and being able to adjust the tension based on the different materials used was a dream. Sometimes it pays to expand your horizons.

Lives Up To It's Reputation

I've had problems with other "screw adjustable" bobbins coming loose while using them, or being so sensitive you can't get the tension you want being either too tight or too loose. The Rite Bobbin protects the adjustment screw, so it stays where you put it, and it gives you plenty of adjustment. I am very happy with it and will be getting another soon.

Rite Bobbin For The Win

The Rite Bobbin is the best bobbin I have ever used. The adjustment is smooth and precise. You never have to worry about breaking your thread no matter how fine the thread is. Once the tension is set it stays that way. No need to readjust. I have tied many flies, large to very small for sixty years and have never had a bobbin so comfortable, reliable and easy to use.
