Cohen's Fugly Hair Packer is like no other hair packer out there. This quality fly tying tool allows you to pack hair tight when tying bass bugs and spinning deer hair. Made of forged 1/8" bar stock steel with a spring steel bend, then riveted and powder coated lime green for durability. Cohen's Fugly Hair Packer features finger guards so you can apply maximum force without worry of slipping into a hook point. The front of the packer is machined with beveled points and a has a hole to accommodate larger hook sizes. Available in two sizes and Made In The USA.

  • 5" Junior - For smaller bass bugs, bombers, muddlers etc.
  • 6" Original - For large bass and saltwater flies

Best Hair Packer for Fly Tying!

Cohen's Fugly Packer is the best hair packer on the market. Great design and great build. This tool is extremely effective and very easy to use. Two thumbs up!

Best Fly Tying Hair Packer Yet!

I have had this Cohen's Fugly Packer for all of 2.5 days and only tied 2 bugs with it, and I will say it is the bomb! It is so much easier to use than the little old Brassie packer I have used, and the ball point pen housing just wasn't working that great for me. I figured the Fugly Packer was worth a shot and am not the least bit disappointed.
