C&F Design Bobbin Holder - Midge / Long

A bobbin holder with a head that is about 10mm longer than the midge regular size.

The slight distance between the hands that grip the bobbin holder makes the tension around the thread on the hook more delicate.

This bobbin holder is ideal for fly tiers that frequently cut ultra-fine threads. It is also recommended for fly tiers with larger hands, making it more comfortable to grip.

• Midge tube (thinner than standard tubes) / Long length (110mm overall)
• Uses a high-quality zirconium ceramic tube that prevents thread breakage.
• Appropriate thread tension can be obtained by opening and closing the arms.
• When applying strong tension to the thread, be careful not to apply too much load as the ceramic tube can break.
• A dedicated bobbin threader is included.
