The Stonfo Elite Compact Disc Drag Bobbin is a top quality weighted stainless steel bobbin with quick adjusting disc-drag that allows a perfect thread tension. The tube has a very strong hardened steel bush to prevent fraying.

This machined bobbin has a hardened steel tip insert and countersunk feed that will allow thread to glide through the tube for threading and tying. The drag control has a large adjustment zone for fine tuning thread tension to your personal preference.

My favorite fly tying bobbin

This bobbin is easy to thread, very sturdy, fits well in your hand, and is simple to change thread. The drag is easy to adjust and really works with very little effort.The ceramic barrel is well designed and is protected by the stainless steel barrel. By far is the best adjustable bobbin I have tried. 100% recommended!

Great Bobbin!

I love this little bobbin. The disc drag system really helps to give the correct tension for the thread you are using. The smaller size is perfect and it has given me greater control over my wraps and I've noticed my flies look way better. Even though it only takes a few seconds to switch threads out, I purchased two more of these from Fly Artist and couldn't be more pleased. Great product!
