I have tried numerous fly tying bobbins on the market, but this was strikes the perfect balance between quality materials and how it feels in the hand. The thumb rest area is adequately long and I'm able to have perfect control over thread tension as I tie. This is the bobbin I recommend to most of my fly tying buddies. A+++++
