The Griffin Hook & Hackle Gauge is a convenient tool that quickly measures hook and hackle sizes. The scales are printed on a high-visibility yellow background for ease of use.

  • Fits standard vise stems
  • Measures hook sizes 4 to 16
  • Measures hackle sizes 4 to 22

How To Use: Bend the hackle around the pin at the bottom of the gauge to determine hackle size. Pivot out of the way when not in use.

Great Hackle Gauge for Dry Flies

Great product, fits on all my vises. A must have if you're tying dries.

AFFORDABLE & ACCURATE

Handy little gauge to have on the vise. Swing it around to measure a hook or hackle feather, and then swing it out of the way to continue tying without obstruction. The bright yellow color is appreciated for visibility and I've found the gauge to be as accurate as any I've used. Very affordable too!
