Great for tying articulated flies

Love this product I have used mono and braid for years but, this offers a better loop that stays perpendicular to the eyelet of the rear hook thus keeping both hooks parallel.

VERY EFFECTIVE Trailer / Stinger Wire

Really great for adding a trailer/stinger hook. Especially important for coho salmon who change direction a lot and use a long shank hook as a "pry bar" to get the primary hook loose.

Great Wire!

I've tied streamers for steelhead and big browns using Senyo's Articulated Shanks, and tried several options. This wire is the best I've seen - and served very well this season. The stiffness keeps hook from getting swung around and caught in the bodies of the flies for more consistent hookups on the swing. I pair the Standard size with the Daiichi 2557 sz 4 hook - eye of this is just big enough for the wire to slide through eye when wire is crimped into a tight bend. 2's would be easier, but I prefer smaller hooks.

Only complaint is how much you get per package... especially with longer, 40mm shanks in use.

Just don't use your good scissors to cut this wire... accidentally did this and ruined them. Cheap standard scissors work great.
