Danville Flymaster 6/0 Waxed Thread (70 Denier)

Can't find the Danville anywhere and just glad these folks had it at a good price.

I have been using the Danville 6/0 for years. Great color selection, consistently fine denier, and lots of strength for such a fine diameter thread. Perfect for size 14-18 dry flies. A great all American company. And thanks to Fly Artist for stocking the full product line.

In my opinion, Danville 6/0 Waxed Flymaster Thread is the gold standard for tying the majority of trout flies. This is my favorite thread, my go to thread. I tie trout flies from #6 wooly buggers to #24 soft hackles. This thread is dependable unlike any other. I can count on it to perform the job I need it to. It's strong with a great steady feel of thread control & making good solid sturdy wraps. There is almost no thread build up, thread is solid, will not split in two like other brand 70 denier threads. Another reason I love it is b/c it allows me to wrap over clipped softhackle stems in fewer wraps that other brand 70 denier. If I could only use one thread, this is definitely it. Whip finishing is a BREEEEEZE with this stuff! Me likey.

One of the best all-purpose threads for the price and it comes in every color I need. I don't see any reason to switch. Great thread!
