EP Silky Fibers 3D
EPD11A translucent, very fine diameter blended synthetic fiber for tying small flies.
A few years after Enrico Puglisi introduced the original EP Fibers, he felt there was a need for a much more supple and thinner diameter fiber, especially for small trout patterns. After much trial and error, he finally found the right combination, and EP Silky Fibers was born. Then, more time and effort was spent on blending colors to perfectly match baitfish pattern, which is when EP Silky Fibers 3D was created. No synthetic fiber has this much life in the water, period. The action is like a marabou feather, but with a greater amount of durability. Silky Fibers 3D is the ideal fiber to tie small patterns, especially small minnows, to attract the most worried wild trout. Recommended for flies 3" and smaller.
