UV Clear Fly Finish Thick is for those who believe that five minutes to cure is five minutes too long. This fly tying UV resin requires no mixing or waiting, and it remains workable until exposed to direct sunlight or a UV light, at which point it will cure in a matter of seconds. The possibilities are endless!

How To Use: Apply Fly Finish Thick to fly while indoors or shaded from the sun. Use applicator and/or rotating vise to form into the ideal shape. Expose to sun light or use a UV light to cure. In direct sun (or when using a UV light) hardening should take approximately 15 seconds.

Amazing UV Resin!

Call me old school but I did not want to give up the head cement I had been using for 25 years. After getting more in to saltwater fly fishing and targeting bass and pike in fresh water I really don’t know what I would do without Loon's Thick UV Resin. Place the resin where you want it, hit it with the UV light and like magic your fly is done. And the best part is the resin is hard enough to stand up to the pounding of saltwater fishing and the toothy fresh water critters as well. Truly an amazing product!

My Go-To UV Resin

I recently purchased the uv resin to help build wing-cases and heads on streamer patterns. The ‘thin’ resin works great for wing casing and the ‘thick’ resin works better when building heads on streamer patterns.
