At depths as shallow as a few feet, even bright flies can appear dull and disappear into the background in the dark underwater world. Loon Fluorescing UV Clear Fly Finish performs just like UV Clear Fly Finish Flow, and takes the UV light that is available underwater and reflects it as a color more visible to fish. Apply this finish to any fly that you plan to use in dark water and get the upper hand!

How To Use: Apply Fluorescing UV Clear Fly Finish to fly while indoors or shaded from the sun. Use applicator and/or rotating vise to form into the ideal shape. Expose to sun light or use a UV light to cure.  Hardening should take approximately 15 seconds.

Great Stuff - Use Sparingly!

I use this Fluorescing UV resin all of the time, but sparingly on the theory that underwater insects are not fluorescent over large areas, but sparingly are lit in a few anatomical spots, or features. I've had good luck targeting trout in small WA lakes & am anxious to do some testing for steelhead. Great stuff just like all of Loon's UV resins. Fly Artist is locating in my home state of WA, so I usually get my orders within a couple of days.
